But first, I know you haven’t seen the Saigo Station speed spriting video yet! It’s on my to-do list. I’ve been focusing on Atmocopter lately, so I didn’t have much time left over for video editing. Just letting you know I haven’t forgotten and that the footage wasn’t eaten by a velociraptor!
Anyway, new tileset! I’ve always wanted to do a space scene, and Talnus Sector went a lot smoother than I expected.
I started with the asteroids and it all came together from there. The asteroids were really easy to do… I guess all those rocks from Dagogum Cavern prepared me for it! This tileset would fit in pretty much any classic-looking space-themed game. I can just imagine dodging and blowing up those asteroids in my spaceship! It could easily fit as a level background as well. I think the speed spriting video of Talnus Sector will be pretty fun to watch… once I edit it all together, that is! Stay tuned for that!
