unTied Games is a Minnesota-based company, founded by videogame-lovers who strive to make unique, challenging, and (most importantly) fun games!
Here's a bit about the guys behind unTied Games.

Hi, my name is Will, and I'm the lead programmer here at unTied Games.
When I'm not working, I like playing Starcraft II, hanging with friends, and running around with my dogs.

I also like to program for fun, and make pixel art! My dislikes include mustard, null pointer exceptions, and DRM.

My favorite game series is Mega Man- I'm really good at it! I guess you could say I rock, man!

Hi, this is Ethan, the artist here at Untied. My favorite kinds of art are surrealist and the work done by the Hudson River School.

My favorite games are a mix of RPGs, and over-the-top local multiplayer games (Timesplitters, Smash Bros, Mario Kart).

I hope I can make our games an entertaining visual experience for all our players!

Hey guys, this is Charlie McCarron, the lead musician for unTied. I make my way as a freelance composer, video producer, and podcaster. My goal is to gradually cut out the boring gigs and replace them with fun projects, like video game composing!

When I'm away from my computer, I play soccer, the card game Dominion, and N64. Although I'm a Nintendo fanboy at heart, I did buy a PS2 solely for the level editor in Timesplitters 2.

Q: Why "unTied?"
A: Because the best way to express yourself is to be casual. You can't be yourself if you're dressing up like someone else.
...Also because we're not tied down to "the system," man!

Q: Are you hiring?
A: Not right now. Sorry!

Q: How did you get started?
A: Although unTied Games was officially founded in 2014, we started working part-time on Star Reaction together in Spring 2012. Ethan and Will met each other through computer science classes at St. John's University in Collegeville, MN. Will and Charlie knew each other from elementary school, and Charlie was also with them at SJU.
During Star Reaction's development, we learned a lot about leadership, teamwork, and communication... but the game suffered due to our lack of expertise and coordination. During 2013, we knuckled down, used what we learned about game design and teamwork, and slowly turned Star Reaction into a fun game that we can legitimately be proud of. That's the most important thing for us!

Q: What kind of game will you make next?
A: The next big game from unTied Games is Atmocopter. Get the latest updates from @Atmocopter on Twitter!

Q: When is your next game coming out?
A: When it's ready. Follow @untiedgames on Twitter for the latest updates!

Q: I think you should make a game like [XYZ].
A: That's not a question! We get suggestions like this all the time. If you think there should be a game like [XYZ], you should go and make a game like [XYZ]! We'd love to play it!

Q: I have a problem with one of your games.
A: Sorry to hear that! We'd love to help- just contact us regarding the problem and we'll see what we can do.
