Hi everyone! As you know, rewards will be changing for my Patreon this month, and you’ll be able to connect your Patreon account with itch.io and download assets directly from my online store! I’m here today with a brief FAQ to let you know when and how it’s going to happen. There’s a sneak peek of what’s to come, after the FAQ! Q. When will the update happen?

A. The rewards will officially change sometime mid-March. I’ve been very busy with the FUZE contract and I’m getting ready to demo Atmocopter at a local gaming convention this weekend, so I think mid-March is approximately when this update will come.

Q. I haven’t used all my keys yet. Will I lose them?

A. No. If you still have asset keys, you can still use your keys to unlock assets through my website. I will let you know in advance when this service will shut down.

Q. Will all your assets be listed on the itch.io store immediately?

A. No, but I will add two per week until they’re all on there. I will also be adding some remastered and totally new assets to the store for the update.

Q. Which assets will be available on the itch.io store *immediately* after the udpate?

A. Here’s a list. (A full list of all assets coming to itch.io is at the bottom of this post)

Exclusive to $10+ patrons: Assets that are less than 1 year old

For both $5 patrons and $10+ patrons: Assets that are 1+ year old

Q. How will I be able to tell which assets are exclusive to $10 patrons, and which I can get as a $5 patron?

A. It will be right at the top of each asset’s description when you click on it in my itch.io store. For example, see the below image.

Q. I’m a $10 patron. How often will new assets become available to me?

A. As soon as I create them, at least once a month!

Q. I’m a $5 patron. How often will new assets become available to me?

A. At the start of every month, I will go through the assets and if any are 1+ year old, I will make them available to you. I will also make a post here to let you know.

Q. I’m a $5 patron, and I already unlocked some of the assets listed above under the $10 tier. Do I still have these assets?

A. Yes. Any assets you unlocked on the website are yours. Additionally, if you are a $5 patron and own an asset that is not in your reward tier on itch.io, contact me and I will give you a download key so you can claim it as well as any updates it has.

Q. Is there anything else I should know?

A. Yes… I’m proud to announce that ALL my tilesets and asset packs have been modernized for this update. They now ALL have spritesheets, and they now ALL have a folder of objects.For the older assets, that means no more unusable, confusing raw tiles!
