Hey everyone, I’m here today with a new asset pack: Super Pixel Item Pickups Sci-fi Pack 1!
The name is a bit of a mouthful, but the items are awesome! Let’s have a look at them.
There are 12 types in all, including spinning gears, nuts, bolts, and more!
Each item comes in three different color themes. This is especially nice for the energy capsules- One could be HP, one could be weapon energy, and one could be stamina. The nuts, bolts, and gears have gold/silver/bronze themes to allow for collectibles of different rarities. The nuts and bolts would also work great as projectiles coming out of an exploding robot. The sky’s the limit!
I mentioned last time that the energy capsules were my favorite, but that was before I drew the electric-zapping gadget. I think that’s my new favorite! I imagine a player collecting it and getting supercharged, but it could also be used as an in-game hazard.
I hope you enjoy them and can put them to use in your games! Drawing the nuts and bolts especially reminded me of Atmocopter, my own sci-fi game that’s been on hiatus for a little while. I’ll come back to it for sure, once I get this year’s projects done!
